365 - March 2018

I miss the sun.

Things to look forward to in March:
- Checked in with my doctors to make some changes, hopefully for the better
- Girl Guide meetings with guides and pathfinders
- Maple Madness at the CRCA Little Cataraqui Creek
- looking for spring cleaning, sorting out my space and photo archives.

March 22, 2018 – Construction continues at the newly named Kingston Secondary School, on Kirkpatrick Street, in Kingston, Ont. on Thursday, March 22, 2018. The goal is to have the doors opened on the new facility, for students, in the fall of 2019

March 27, 2018 – The results of a new commissioned public poll looking at the publics "perceptions of precarious academic work, its impact on education quality at Ontario’s universities, and student support for fairness for contract faculty" were released during a press conference at Queen's University, University Club

March 29, 2018 – Cornerstone manager Lisa Scales draws the winner for the $500 gift basket - Kate Kenney - out of the 65 completed entries in downtown Kingston, Ont. on Thursday, March 29, 2018. The 1st annual Golden Easter Egg hunt took place on March 24 with a number of downtown businesses participating by hiding a golden egg within the store. Participants needed to get a map, then once they found an egg, they got the store to sign off.  Scales said that she's already looking forward to next years hunt
