365 - September 2014

Back to school?.... not for me, but a few of my friend's have little ones starting Kindergarten this month.

Things to look forward to in September:
This is a big birthday month for my family so LOTS of celebrations
Oh No Not Together Again rehearsals and show
Watching the change in colours
Visiting with a few long distance friends

September 1, 2014 - Great way to start the trip home, a breakfast treat from Sarah - Cinnabon at Union Station

*EXTRA* September 13, 2014 - It was my first time shooting Queen's football at Richardson Stadium. The wind and rain were on and off for the entire game.  I must have looked like a drowned rat by the time I left halfway through the second quarter.

September 19, 2014 - Employees from Fotenn Planning and Urban Design transformed a parking spot on lower Princess Street, below Wellington Street, into a temporary usable public space as part of the Park(ing) Day project on Friday September 19, 2014. Now in its ninth year, the international project aims to promote creating temporary public spaces in urban settings every third Friday.

September 21, 2014 - The Cataraqui Regional Conservation Authority held a special 50th birthday celebration at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area on Sunday that included guided hikes, music with Tim Sheffield, a birds of prey show, and free canoe & kayak scavenger hunt.

Each artist will occupy a room to showcase their work on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 5 p.m. till 10p.m.
September 25, 2014 - Sophie Kiwala, MPP for Kingston and the Islands poses for the media outside her office in the Lasalle Mews. Kiwala will be hosting her first town hall meeting on October 2 at Queen's.
September 26, 2014 - Representatives from the University Hospital Kingston Foundation, Hotel Dieu Hospital ENT Department, the Estate of Larry Gibson and the Anna and Edward C. Churchill Foundation were on-hand on Friday September 26, 2014 for the fundraising announcement of $300,000 in donation for the ENT department relocation project to move from the Murray Building into the hospital proper.
